Our company was founded in 1982 by Sandy Wood, one of the first pioneers in the development of the Short North and widely considered the “godfather” of the Short North. For nearly 45 years, The Wood Companies, a multigenerational, family-owned company, has remained committed to providing some of the Short North’s finest apartments with an unmatched commitment to high-end finishes, excellent customer experiences, and being an active part of the community.
