Utilities at Wood Companies apartments are individually metered based on your usage, so you only pay for what you use. Depending on your home, utilities may include water, gas, and electricity. We do not charge residents for trash or common area utilities, helping keep costs simple and transparent.
Residents can choose their preferred internet provider, depending on availability in the building. In most of our Short North apartments, options include Spectrum, AT&T, and Breezeline, giving residents the ability to choose the service that works best for them.
We welcome pets in our communities. A $50/month fee per pet is charged as “pet rent,” and we follow Franklin County guidelines for acceptable breeds.
As a dog owner, one of the biggest perks of living in the Short North is having Goodale Park nearby. On any given evening, you’ll find a vibrant community of dog owners enjoying the park with their pups, it’s one of the things our residents love most about living in the Short North.
Yes, all residents are required to maintain renters insurance while living in a Wood Companies apartment.
At the time of lease signing, you have the option to enroll in renters insurance through AppFolio, which will add a monthly premium directly to your resident account for convenience. You are also welcome to choose your own insurance provider.
Please note that Wood Companies does not manage or control renters insurance policies, coverage is handled directly between the resident and their selected provider.
